I’ve been thinking about using this blog for a safe place to vent.  Maybe it will help me to deal with my parents’ end of life issures.

North Star Lodge is a very nice place. Staff is wonderful and the atmosphere is restful and hopeful. We spent many days in the waiting room watching the stream out the window while my mom was receiving her radiation treatments.

Don’t know how this tree survived. It’s like the wind shaped this into a work of art.

My husband and his siblings…along with other family members…went to this rock on the California coast to hold a memorial ceremony for their dad.

This is the lighthouse near Crescent City, CA. Such a beautiful view.  My husband and I visited CC over the weekend and were blessed with a nice day.

These little guys very rarely come up to the house. They most stick to the brush around the wetlands. Such a treat to see them.

It’s been a while. Just too busy lately.

I loved the colors of the bubble. If you look closely, you can see the reflection of the me on the porch.

I just loved the profile against the bright window.

We had been feeding the ducks and this bird was waiting for his share. Didn’t show much fear of us.

the name says it all. don’t know if it was all the duck poo that killed it.
